Legal heir name change

When the person in whose name the connection exists is no more or the person is willingly transfering the connection to the next of the kin. In legal heir name change the person gets the connection transferred at the same amount that it was issued at i.e., there is no change in the security of the connection. However the customer is required to pay administrative charges.

For legal heir name change following documents are required

1) KYC form in name of the person to whom it has to be transferred.
2) Connection Papers issued at the time of issuing the connection.
3) In case of Death, Death certificate of the person in whose name the connection already existed.
4) In case the person is willingly transferring then he needs to be present at the time of filling of papers.
5) Photostat of Identity proof in which Aadhar card and bank passbook are a must for availing the subsidy.
6) 4 photographs of the person in whose name the connection is to be transferred.

URS

In URS the process of the trasfer is same as above. In case two people are not related by blood then the old security is refunded and new security is charged. Documents and procedures is same. When we say related it refers to next in kin and not the relatives. In case of relatives new security will be charged and old will be refunded
